Karen Lam

twenty-two years old; writer, editor;  singapore / korea
student of english literature, usp, national university of singapore

I started out writing prose and short stories before venturing into poetry and plays. My interest lies in experimental modes of narrative making and exploring the dimensions of languages - how they interweave, interlock with each other in the process of storytelling. Always on the search for new ways of creative expression, I am on the lookout for projects that push the boundaries of how we perceive the spaces we occupy, and how interaction occurs between people and the environment they inhabit.
